Atlantic Museum
The Atlantic Museum is the first underwater museum of the Atlantic Ocean and Europe. It is located about 300 meters from Marina Rubicon on the beach of Las Coloradas. It is conceived as a place for the preservation, conservation and education of the marine environment and nature. The project of artist Jason de Caires Taylor aims to create a large artificial reef formed by a set of sculptures made of concrete. The sculptures are located about 12 meters deep, on an area of 2,500 square meters, accessible to divers.
