Marina Rubicón location: 28º 51.5' N - 13º 49.0' W.
The Canary Isles are a traditional departure point from which to cross the Atlantic. More and more sailing fans are discovering the Canaries, and Lanzarote in particular, for all its various attractions. Quiet beaches, hidden coves, crystal-clear waters, uninhabited islands, a spring-like climate all year round, safe waters and a superb infrastructure are responsible for the islands' great reputation.
The location of Marina Rubicón stands out for its quiet waters, well protected on the island's south coast, close to Fuerteventura, Lobos and the stunning Papagayo beaches. The Marina forms part of the Playa Blanca tourist area, the fastest growing holiday resort on Lanzarote, with four wonderful beaches, excellent hotels and an environment that has retained all the charm of a Canary fishing village.
The marina is only half an hour from Lanzarote's international airport and 5 minutes from the centre of Playa Blanca, from where you can catch a ferry to Fuerteventura (30-minute crossing). There is a bus service from the marina to the ferry for your comfort.
