The port of Marina Rubicón is located to the south of the island of Lanzarote, which is part of the Canary Island archipelago. Lanzarote is the most northeasterly of the seven main Canary Islands and is located approximately 70 miles from the African coast and 620 miles from Gibraltar. This position means that it is the first of the Canary Islands that you reach as you sail south-west that has a first-class marina.

The Canary Islands are a traditional starting point for setting off across the Atlantic Ocean. Lanzarote’s international airport is only half an hour from the harbour and the centre of Playa Blanca, with a comprehensive ferry service to Fuerteventura (30 minute crossing) is just 5 minutes away. Buses to the ferry leave from the marina for the convenience of the visitors.
